Fog City

We stopped in after a walk on the pier for a glass of wine and appetizers. Sat at the bar, pretty good view back to the pier and street. Kale salad and truffle fries were great, as well as the wine selection

Wood Grilled Chicken Salad is one of the best salads I've had in my life and I don't even like salad that must tell you something. Margarita pizza is also quite good; the wood oven really makes a difference. Chocolate Mousse is out of this world. They occasionally carry some good soups. Amazing staff.

Pleasantly surprised, it's classic diner facade is deceiving. Contemporary ambiance with a young crowd. Had the smoked chicken wings which I thought was too spicy for my taste but otherwise colorful and bold flavor. The smoked brisket was cooked to perfection but had a little too much fatty ends. The combination with the gnocchi and sour cream was harmonious and appealing. Friends had the cheese burger which they described with top praise.

Classic SF restaurant that is near the pier and has since been renovated. I like how they can hold a private large party and reservation in the corner of the restaurant. The layout is like a diner, but my family was able to have the babies run around the corner area. Casual dining with good eats! The skirt steak was seasoned well and they were accommodating with just veggies as choice of sides instead of fries! Beet sauce and asparagus was the substitute and it was great! Pork chop was grilled and cooked nicely as well! Brussels sprouts were crisp as appetizer, Caesar salad was dressed up swell and trfries were addictive! They gave little calamari and wings were on the dry side. Fresh oysters - can't complain on that part. Thin beignets were ordered for dessert. Nicely puffed and fresh and dough to my liking. The creamy espresso dip was more preferred than the chocolate. Service was attentive.Convenient and contemporary.

Excellent 👍pizza. The bread was lesser than average, while the cheese and mushrooms were greater than average. Good service. Good music.

After a long flight, we stopped in for dinner on the way home. Great atmosphere. Food was good. My husband enjoyed his steak and roasted veggies. I had the sole on top of green beans. It was tasty with the wine we chose. I think the place itself adds to the experience. Staff was also friendly. Nice spot.

We celebrated my husbands 70th birthday at Fog City this past Saturday. We had 45 guests. The manager in charge, Fatima and her staff treated us like royalty!! They took care of all the details and provided our guests with a wonderful experience. The venue beautiful, the food delicious, the service superb! Everyone enjoyed the party and I highly recommend Fog City for special events.Cecilia Sullivan

Took a girlfriend here a few years ago and loved it. Unfortunately, she turned out to be Mrs. X, the notorious axe murderer who could sing Only You in six different languages, so it didn't quite work out. Nevertheless, we loved Fog City diner. I highly recommend taking a walk in the rain after your meal.

More of a San Francisco tourist spot to me. The food is okay. Small collection of sandwiches (burgers, turkey burger, salmon, fried chicken), salads (salmon, chicken, etc.) and side dishes (fries, calamari, etc). Nothing seemed notable to me. Good food, but nothing you can't get at other American cuisine restaurants at likely lower prices with possibly better flavors. 3 stars for average, but only a spot I would go to for convenience.
